Ms. Yu Hui graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Literature from the Chinese Department of Northeast Normal University (NENU). She brings extensive insider knowledge, having spent many years teaching Higher Chinese and serving as a PSLE Oral Examiner and Composition/Paper Marker. This experience ensures complete familiarity with the PSLE examination process and requirements.

Mr. Jia Liming graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Literature from the Chinese Department of Northeast Normal University. He previously served as a Chinese language teacher in local government primary and secondary schools.

每个学生的情况都不同,作为教师需要进行引导,让学生了解自己擅长和热爱的部分,以后他们能够找到自己所长。严厉是教学的需要,但关注和启发学生的想象力和创造力也是很重要的。再者,学生的身心无法健康,也就无法自在的学习和吸收知识。🌱
文学的本质在于包容和容纳,可以告知学生都不需要害怕犯错,但需要懂得在犯错后警惕自己,并懂得容纳和自己不同的那些,未来成为同理和关怀社会的人。📖

Each student is different. As teachers, we need to guide them in understanding what they are good at and what they truly love, so that one day they can find their own strengths. Discipline has its place in teaching, but it is just as important to care for students and inspire their imagination and creativity. After all, if a child is not physically and emotionally well, they cannot learn freely or absorb knowledge with ease. 🌱
At its heart, literature is about openness and acceptance. It teaches students that they do not need to be afraid of making mistakes. What matters is learning to reflect after a mistake, and learning to accept people and ideas that are different from their own. I hope they will grow into people with empathy, care, and a generous heart toward society. 📖
I hope my teaching can help students discover a wider and more diverse world. Society may often ask for standard answers, but children should also learn how to embrace differences, stay flexible, and look at problems from different angles.
